On this page, we will be posting short stories, flash fiction, novel excerpts and maybe even an occasional poem by emerging writers from the greater St. Louis area (i.e. the general area bounded by Chicago to the north, Kansas City to the west, Memphis to the south and Indianapolis to the east.) As of now, we have no set publishing schedule, so come back early and often for our next batch of fresh brewed fiction.
If you hail from south of Chicago, north of Nashville, west of Indy or east of KC, you're in our "listening" area and we'd like to hear from you. You can send a story you've been working on or, each month, we'll post a story prompt or a theme for On Tap submissions. We generally post a story a week, so it's up to you to mix in a healthy dose of pure imagination and brew up a story. Take a moment to read the stories currently posted, check out our author pages and then click below to submit your story. Then sit back and wait to see what pours out of the tap!
